Financing Your Benedictine Education

Tuition and fees are due prior to the start of each course. Students will receive a payment schedule at orientation. Tuition can be paid either Course by Course or by using the Block Payment Plan which consists of pre-paying for three to five courses at one time.


  • Cash
    Benedictine University accepts cash, personal checks and most major credit and debit cards.
  • Financial Aid
    Eligible students may qualify for Federal Pell Grants, the Illinois MAP Grant and Federal Stafford Loans. For more information and to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online, go to www.FAFSA.ed.gov.
  • Employer Direct Bill
    Employer Direct Bill is an arrangement by which qualified employers pay Benedictine University directly for the student's educational expenses. For a student to be eligible for the Employer Direct Bill option, they must be approved by the Cohort Accounting Office prior to orientation.
  • Employer Deferred Billing
    Employer Deferred Billing is an arrangement by which students with tuition reimbursement benefits can defer tuition payments equal to their reimbursement benefits for 60 days from the first night of class. For a student to be eligible for the Employer Deferred Billing option, they must be approved by the Cohort Accounting Office prior to orientation. Appropriate documentation required can be obtained via your enrollment representative.
  • Scholarships
    Students may apply for scholarships offered by various business and civic organizations. For more information on scholarships, go to www.fastweb.com.
