You must complete the following steps in order to secure your place in our Fall 2012 class. Your transition to Benedictine will be easy when you follow these steps:

• Become an active member of our Benedictine University Class of 2016 Facebook group. Get answers to your most pressing questions from new friends on the site as well as our helpful enrollment staff.
  
  
• Attend an Admitted Student Day that is specially designed to introduce you to Benedictine and easy your transition to college. Dates for these events include:
  • Monday, February 20, 2012
  • Wednesday, March 28, 2012
  • Wednesday, April 25, 2012
  • Saturday, June 23, 2012
    
    
• Complete necessary enrollment steps to commit to Benedictine and begin in the Fall 2012:
  1. Complete Online Placement Testing.
  2. Pay a $200 tuition deposit to secure your registration at Benedictine University. Please submit your payment online at www.ben.edu/deposit. If you plan to pay online you will need your Benedictine University personalized student ID number.
  3. After you complete your placement tests and submit your tuition deposit, you will be able to register for fall classes beginning on March 1, 2012. Your academic advisor will contact you to set up an appointment. All students are required to bring on from of photo identification for registering. New Student Advising Center
     
     
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) beginning on January 1, 2012. We suggest you complete this before May 2012. Remember to include our School Code 001767.
  
  
• Submit a Housing Preference Form and pay the $125 housing deposit to reserve your campus living space by June 22, 2012. You may visit the Resident Life website at www.ben.edu/reslife to obtain the application. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
  
  
• May 1, 2012 Enrollment Decision Deadline. Ensure your space in our Fall 2012 class by submitting your tuition deposit and committing to Benedictine.
  
  
• Submit a complete Health Form to Student Health Services by August 1, 2012.
  
  
• Apply for the Life Lived in Balance Awards by June 30, 2012
  
  
• Housing Assignment to all resident students are anticipated to be delivered by July 15, 2012
  
  
• Complete the Confidential Release Authorization Form (FERPA)
  
  
• Submit your Advanced Placement Test scores to Benedictine University or official transcripts for any college level coursework previously completed.
  
  
• Submit your official final high school transcripts with degree conferral to Benedictine University's Enrollment Center by September 1, 2012 to make your admission file complete.
  
  
• Attend Welcome Weekend festivities
  
  
• Go to class! The first day of school is Monday, August 27, 2012
